Denver Workforce Services will be offering two Summer Job and Resource Fairs this month for young adults ages 16-24. The events have a focus on summer jobs. Youths must turn 16 prior to May 1 to attend.
Adams County Workforce and Business Center and Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Workforce Center help to put on the events in conjunction with Denver Workforce Services, as well as the Governor’s Summer Job Hunt Program.
The governor’s program was launched in 1981 to connect young people with workforce centers and employers. The website also has resources on different steps in the job-hunting process, such as interviews, resumes and applications. For more information, go to https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/gsjh.
