SNOWBOARDERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS WILL HAVE TO WAIT TO SHARPEN THEIR SKILLS at the Ruby Hill Rail Yard, a free urban ski and snowboard terrain park at Ruby Hill Park in southwest Denver. The park was slated to open to the public for the third consecutive year on Sat., Jan. 24, but unseasonably warm weather has caused a delay. Parks Department employees will monitor temperatures until snow-making becomes feasable. New this year will be free snowboard rentals provided by Christy Sports for youth and teens (sizes limited to older youth and teens). Opening day festivities will feature demonstrations, instruction, giveaways and drawings.
