Bayaud Enterprises has racked up its 50th year of job placement and training. The organization also welcomes a new executive director this month.
Tammy Bellofatto starts as the executive director at Bayaud Enterprises on Oct. 1, according to a news release. Before starting with the organization, Bellofatto was the director of vocational services for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. She has dedicated her career to advocating for marginalized people, the release said.
“Ms. Bellofatto comes to Bayaud with the perfect experience and passion to lead Bayaud on its mission of reducing hurdles for individuals in the workforce,” said Sabrina Stavish, Bayaud Enterprises president of the board of directors, in the release.
Bayaud Enterprises first launched in 1969. The organization offers job placement and training to help break down barriers toward employment for those who are disabled or homeless. The organization also offers resources such as a free mobile laundry truck and health services.
The nonprofit celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this summer.
