Nooch Vegan Market announced in late April that May 14 was its last day of business.

The small specialty grocer sold a variety of vegan products ranging from food items and body care to kitchenware and gifts. It was located at 10 E. Ellsworth Ave., which borders Denver’s Speer and Baker neighborhoods.

“We had an amazing 10-year run as Colorado’s only all-vegan grocery store and are so super proud of all we’ve accomplished and been a part of over the years. Thanks so much to all of our supporters and to all of the wonderful vendors and businesses that helped make our little shop so special. Please know this decision didn’t come quickly or lightly, it ultimately and honestly feels like the right time for many reasons,” states the announcement on Nooch’s website.
