Residents and business owners are invited to drop off all unwanted paint at the PaintCare recycling event from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 24 at South High School, 1700 E. Louisiana Ave. in Denver.
House paints, stains, primers, sealers and clear-top coatings (varnish and shellac) are all accepted at the event. Any amount of latex or oil-based paint will be accepted from households, but some businesses might face restrictions on the amount of oil-based paint they can turn in.
